Daniel Courville

Bio(s):

Daniel Courville has been teaching sound production and applied computer technology at University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) Media School since 1990. Also a sound engineer and producer, he has been interested in Ambisonics since 1988. Recently, he focused on developing modular software enabling the integration of Ambisonic techniques in sound production and post-production environments. He also acts as a surround sound consultant to multimedia artists and various organizations. As a musician, he played basson and electric bass, but mostly he’s been singing in choirs, ensembles and churches in Montreal since the age of nine. Daniel Courville holds an MA in Communications from UQAM.
